The Data Warehousing Group is a specialized team dedicated to managing and optimizing data workflows to support the needs of various stakeholders in healthcare and clinical research. Our services include:
- ETL Support: We design, implement, and manage Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to ensure seamless and efficient data integration from multiple sources into our data warehouse.
- Application and API Development: Our team develops robust applications and APIs to facilitate data access, manipulation, and integration, enhancing the functionality and accessibility of our data systems for various users.
- Clinical Data Exploration and Support: We provide comprehensive support for clinical data exploration, enabling detailed reporting and advanced analytics. Group Personnel
- Josh Tewell – Database Applications Developer – Administers the LCCC Central Patient Registry (CPR/CPR-OR), Metaclinic site-specific cancer databases, Manifest Annotation Database (MAND) sample inventory and cohort sequencing tracking, and other interfaces involving data management for clinical trials.
- Steven Funte – Data Architect – Performs Cohort Discovery for Investigators interested in patient data in clinical databases. Develop and maintain Pathology Report Text Mining software. Support developers and researchers using clinical data.
- Tom Bodenheimer – Data engineer – Helps Lineberger teams and researchers with database programming, API development, reporting/analytics, and application design. Supports users with Tableau report development. Integrates data from different applications to make cross-system data source reporting possible. Automates data feeds and updates.
